How do I merge multiple videos into one?
After uploading 2 or more video files, drag them or use the up/down arrows to set their playback order, choose an output format (MP4 or WebM), then click start. The tool merges each clip seamlessly into one complete video locally in your browser, ready to preview and download — nothing is ever uploaded to a server.
How many videos can I join?
There is no hard limit in theory, but we recommend merging no more than 20 video files at a time. The more videos and the longer the total duration, the more processing time and memory it takes. To merge a large number of videos, process them in batches and then merge again.
Can I merge videos of different formats?
Yes. The tool automatically decodes various video formats (such as MP4, WebM, MOV, MKV, AVI) and re-encodes them into your chosen output format when merging. Mixed-format merging takes a bit more processing time than same-format, but the result is a single standard video.
Can videos with different resolutions or frame rates be merged?
Yes. The tool uses the first video's dimensions as the output size; other clips with different resolutions are automatically centered and keep their aspect ratio, with extra areas padded in black, and the frame rate is unified to the output parameters. For the best look, try to align the resolution and frame rate of all clips before merging.
Will the quality drop after merging videos?
Since multiple clips must be re-encoded with unified parameters, there is a slight quality loss compared with the originals, but the tool uses a high bitrate by default, so it is hard to notice in most cases. If you need maximum compatibility, enable "Force re-encode"; if all clips already share the same parameters, the loss is even smaller.
Are my files uploaded to a server when merging videos?

How do I adjust the order of the merged videos?
In the video list you can drag any clip to a new position, or use the up and down arrow buttons on the right of each row to fine-tune the order. The final output is merged strictly in top-to-bottom list order.
How is audio handled when merging videos?
Each clip's own audio track is merged along with its picture into the corresponding time segment, and unified into the output format's audio (e.g. AAC for MP4, Opus for WebM). If a clip has no audio, that segment is silent in the result, without affecting the sound of other clips.
How long does merging take?
Processing speed depends on the total video duration, resolution, and your device performance. Generally, merging three 1-minute 1080p videos takes about 1-2 minutes. With WebCodecs hardware acceleration, it is 5-10x faster than traditional online tools.
Is there a file size limit for merging videos?
The tool sets no fixed upper limit, but since all processing happens in browser memory, we recommend keeping the total size of all clips under 2GB. For very large files, use desktop Chrome or Edge and reduce the number of videos merged at once.
