About audio reversing
Reversing audio plays a track's samples in the opposite order: the original ending becomes the intro, decays swell into rises, and speech sounds like an unfamiliar language. The tool decodes the full track, flips each channel sample by sample and re-encodes it, so the result keeps the original duration instead of being cut short. MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC and M4A can be read, the output is MP3 or lossless WAV, and everything runs locally in your browser.
If the audio is too long, or you only need one section reversed, trim it first with Audio Trimmer. To reverse the picture as well, use the Reverse Video.

Frequently Asked Questions
What audio formats are supported?
MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC and M4A can be read, and the output is MP3 or WAV. The tool preselects the output from your source file: WAV stays WAV, everything else defaults to MP3.
Does reversing hurt the audio quality?
WAV output is uncompressed PCM, so nothing is lost. MP3 output is re-encoded once at a high bitrate, which you will not hear in normal listening.
How long can the audio be?
Up to 10 minutes per file. Reversing keeps the whole track in memory, and 10 minutes is what most phones can finish reliably. For longer audio, trim the part you need with Audio Trimmer first.
Will my files be uploaded to a server?
No. Decoding, reversing and encoding all run in your browser, so the file never leaves your device.
How is this different from the video reverser?
Audio reversing only handles sound: audio in, audio out, and much faster. The video reverser re-encodes every frame backwards, so use that page for video files.
