Frequently Asked Questions
How many files can I convert at once?
In theory there's no hard limit, but it's best to match your device's capabilities. A typical computer can handle 10-20 files at a time; more powerful machines can do more. Batch conversion processes files one after another.
Can I cancel partway through a batch?
Yes. Simply refresh the page or close the tab to stop the conversion. Files that have already been converted are unaffected; any in-progress files will stop.
Do all files have to use the same settings?
Yes. In batch mode, all files share the same output format, quality, and advanced options. If you need different settings, process them in separate batches or use the single-file conversion mode.
How long does batch conversion take?
Conversion time depends on file size, count, output settings, and device performance. In general, a 1GB video takes 2-5 minutes on an average computer. Files are converted sequentially, so the total time is the sum of each file's individual time.
Can I leave the page during conversion?
Not recommended. Conversion runs in your browser, so leaving or closing the page will interrupt it. Keep the page open during conversion — you can switch to other tabs to work on other things.
What if one file fails to convert?
If a file fails, the system shows an error message but continues processing the rest. Once the batch is done, you can see which files succeeded and which failed, then retry the failed ones individually.
